HAPPY NEW YEAR to each of you. My wish for you is a happy, healthy and successful 2023.

I always see the new year as a fresh start or new beginning. The concerns from the past year are behind us. Let’s look forward to how we can make this a terrific year, together within BPWEV.

I’m proud to inform you that during the month of December we had four ladies join our group. That’s always great news, each member has new ideas, new skills and can make our group better. It is my hope that each new member will be able to attend the January 17 dinner meeting. This will give all of us the opportunity to welcome them and get to know about their abilities, interests and personal/family life.

As members of our group, we ask you to support our organization be supporting all our events. Ways to support are: buy tickets, invite friends to attend, sponsor, donate a basket, donate food (when appropriate) or serve on the committee.

Upcoming events are our Wine Tasting Event on January 20 at Rumours Wine Bar in Lemon Bay Plaza. Co-chairs are Cyndi Fredricks and Deb Straw. Tickets can be purchased on our website and we hope all members will attend if possible. By contacting Cyndi or Deb you can learn what other ways you can assist them.

On March 25 we will hold another Women’s Workshop. All topics will relate to your professional life and ways to deal with issues or learn to be more successful. Speakers who are current assigned to speak are: Stephanie Marcuskey, Dr. Christopher Cortman, April Glasco, and an unknown financial advisor/expert. Please let our co-chairs Stephanie and Amanda Foster how you will be helping them make this event a huge success.

If you were unable to attend our two holiday parties, on 12/15 at the Venice Friendship Center and on 12/20 at Plantation, you missed a good time.

Please consider a New Year’s resolution to attend all BPWEV events during 2023!
